Tejan Kamara is an artist, promoter and hypeman born in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Grewing up in Africa, he got in contact with music very early on. He’s been making music since he was 12 years old. At 16, Tejan made the very challenging immigration to Belgium and started adapting to life there.

He met Warre in Roeselare after arriving a couple months ago and they immediately clicked. Tejan joined Wurriversal and TJ WEST was born. At 19 years old he co-founded AFROTON and has made history with bringing 1.000 people to the first festival edition.

TJ WEST is currently based in Belgium, Europe. He mainly makes afrobeat and afropop songs while switching to amapiano time to time. He’s on a mission to healing the world with his high vibrational music.

TJ WEST gained international prominence with his singles “MAKE AM ,” “KOLO MENTAL ,” and many more. He has won numerous awards including best upcoming artist of the year in the Netherlands
